We are often asked whether our Speyside Whisky Distillery Tours depart from Aberdeen. Unfortunately they don't. However, if you are wanting to come to Speyside, you can be here in around 60 minutes by train ready to depart for your Speyside Whisky Tour! We depart from Huntly, Keith and Elgin whichever suits your itinerary best. You can then have a full day touring Speyside's Distilleries and then return to Aberdeen in the early evening.
Your itinerary could include the more well known Speyside Distilleries of Macallan, Aberlour, Glenfiddich and the less well know such as Strathisla and GlenAllachie.
The train service in Scotland is known as Scotrail and there are regular trains to Elgin & Huntly (and Forres and Keith) from Aberdeen.
