Malt Whisky Trail Tour
The Malt Whisky Trail is made up of a group of Speyside Distilleries and the Speyside Cooperage. They work together and promote themselves under the umbrella of the Malt Whisky Trail. The Malt Whisky Trail tour is often referred to in guidebooks such as Forbes, Rough Guide and Visit Scotland publications. There are various Malt Whisky Trail Tour itineraries published online - generally 3 day whisky tours. That's a leisurely pace and allows time for extended distillery tours. It's possible to reach most of the distilleries in two to three days and can be integrated into a Speyside Whisky Tour.
